Addressing immediate needs

A shelter program designed to meet short term and emergency needs and eventually transitioning into other forms of necessary housing.

Support for the Social Housing Developer and innovative development that retains Seattle’s natural resources.

Crisis & public safety

A dedicated Nonviolent Emergency Response Network — aimed at serving people experiencing a crisis that puts their stability at risk

The service will launch with caseworkers, encampment outreach supplying services, street medic teams, and give support for those experiencing trafficking and fleeing domestic violence.

The three top priorities make up the Relief portion of our plan to address the homelessness crisis in Seattle — The Homeless New Deal.

The full written document outlining our entire plan over the next 4 years was released in July. The visual and written outlines, with an audio walkthrough, are available now on the Homeless New Deal page or by following the button.

Self-sustaining UBI program

Our Universal Basic Income Pilot begins by supporting some of our most underserved and vulnerable communities — but it doesn’t end there.

Designed with an Entrepreneurial twist, it will boost creative For Purpose businesses that aim to enhance the quality of life for all Seattleites and grow the number of recipients.
